Hi, I’m Liat

I know trauma, both with a lowercase t and a capital T. I also know what it’s like to live through war, fear, and loneliness, and how deeply those experiences can echo in the body and heart. My work is about acknowledging the feelings underneath so they can move through you to make space for a deeper sense of trust and safety - even in a world that may not always feel nurturing.

My approach integrates body, mind, and nature. I’m completing my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and my certification in Tension & Trauma Release Exercises (TRE). My earlier studies focused on horticultural therapy and people-plant relationships (PhD). I also worked in peace-building institutes, where I taught and practiced nonviolent communication and conflict resolution (MA).

I currently lead trauma support groups for people who have faced terrorism and discrimination. I am also a licensed psilocybin facilitator in Colorado, offering psychedelic and integration support to help weave insights from expanded states into daily life. I’m a certified 200-hour yoga teacher with additional training in polyvagal yoga for trauma recovery, prenatal and postnatal yoga, meditation, and breathwork. I’ve also taught mindfulness and ecstatic movement

I’m a mother of two young boys. My oldest was diagnosed with autism at 18 months, and through that journey I trained in the Greenspan Method (DIR/Floortime) to support emotional and developmental growth - both in my children and in myself.

Through my own path, I’ve come to hold deep respect for the fluidity of the human experience and our shared longing for meaning and wholeness.
